Jeanette A. Najar, age 96 of Caledonia, left this life on August 3, 2015 and is now in the presence of the Virgin Mary and her Son Jesus. Born on September 15, 1918, she was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for over 53 years. Jeanette had a passion for cooking and spending time with her grandchildren of whom she adored. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Najar, parents Frank and Mary Lutfy, brothers John and Tony Lutfy and sister Laurice Mitchell. She is survived by her son Thomas (Barbara), grandchildren Kari, Jordan and Sara; sisters Elaine LeBlanc, Delores Perry and Diane Friedrich; brother Joe Lutfy and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a Private Burial Mass at Resurrection Cemetery with Fr. Rock Badgerow presiding. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 7th at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 52nd St SE with Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere and Msgr. R. Louis Stasker officiating. Friends may meet with the family one hour prior to the Memorial Mass at the church. The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude for the care provided by the staff at Railside Living Center and Spectrum Hospice.
