Karen and I met Hal when I played soccer with Mark and Todd--many years ago. My memories of Hal are as a true gentleman, and a marvelous family man. As a man of faith, he poured his life out for others. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and I regret that I will be out of town for the memorial service. Carl

Hal was a great friend and mentor. He was a leader to his people and exhibited great compassion and understanding. He was an outstanding athlete who loved to play basketball and golf. The world has lost a great man and I have lost a great friend. Our prayers are with you.
