George Edwin Pratt, age 90, went to be with his Lord and Savior and be reunited with the love of his life, Teresa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Alice Pratt, his brothers and sisters, Alfred, Warren, Milford, Edna and Elinor; his grandson,Rodger and his granddaughter, Jesse. He will be dearly missed by his children, Gwen, Diane (Jack) Hale, Robin (Brian) Hoorn, Jackie (Blane) Kole, Chris (Bill) Sackett, Eric (Teresa) Pratt, Dana (Shari) Pratt and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister-in-law Nadine Pratt, brother-in-law, Arthur Lillibridge and many friends. He worked for 19 years at American Seating Company and 26 years at Steelcase Inc. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He belonged to the American Legion 208. He was a die-hard Detroit Lions and Tiger fan and a "Go-Blue" fan. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, faithfulness, and most of all, love. Visitation will be at Ofield Funeral Home (4500 Kalamazoo Ave in Kentwood) on Sunday, October 22 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM with the Rosary Service at 7:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 23 at 11:00 AM at St Mary Magdalen Church (1253 52nd St. in Kentwood) In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
