Dorothy Isobel Petrakis, born August 11,1916 in Belfast Northern Ireland joined Nick for eternity on September 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sadie Thompson, sister Maureen, son Peter and granddaughter Galadriel. Dorothy was a schoolteacher and field hockey coach in Cookstown Northern Ireland during WWll, met Nick at a USO dance, got married and arrived in the US on the Queen Mary on St. Patrick's Day, 1946 with son Peter. She and Nick continued to travel and loved to take cruises anywhere. Dorothy loved to help her grandchildren with their homework, was an avid reader, loved to knit and sew and a constant crossword enthusiast, "her work" in later years. She loved a cup of tea, a shortbread cookie and a visit. She is sorely missed by her daughter Diane, son-in-law John Kriekaard and grandchildren Price and Isabelle. Surviving are her son Tony (Diana) of Ballwin MO, grandchildren Dominique, David, Nickie Diane (Mark) Edwards and great grandchildren Stetson, Morgan, Langston and Alison of Oklahoma City, OK and Erin.
