Claudia Meulenberg Obituary

Claudia Meulenberg was called home to heaven on Wednesday, February 3, at the age of 100. She was born October 19, 1915 to Owen and Hazel Barney. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Marian Carpenter. Claudia operated Hobby Hill Kennel in Kentwood for 35 years before retiring to enjoy golf and travel. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Joan and Vern Wilterdink of Greenville, and her granddaughter, Stephanie (Tim) Manor of Jackson. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the caregivers at Faith Hospice and the staff of Maple Creek Terraces for their loving care and support. In keeping with Claudia's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private funeral service was held.
